This large-scale mural, located in Santa Rosa, was created by three artist sisters, Saskia, Lilia, and Marije Rechin. Saskia designed the mural, and all three sisters painted it. Beauty Not Forgotten. The Pomo People honors and recognizes the native Pomo people of Sonoma County, and aims to bring recognition to the natural beauty of this area and its keepers. The young man featured in the mural is Placido Lopez, who poses in traditional regalia.
