Other Campus Galleries

In addition to the University Art Gallery, SSU has several other public spaces on campus where visitors may view stimulating and challenging works of art.  These include the GK Hardt and Dwight Galleries in Weill Hall at the Green Music Center and The Rage Gallery in the Art Department building. In addition, the University has several works of public art located across campus.

The Dwight Gallery, named after a generous donor to the campaign to build the Green Music Center, is located on the second floor of Weill Hall in the GMC.  Works of art from the SSU Art Collection are featured here on a rotating basis.  Currently on view are paintings by Joan Baez, from the series Mischief Makers, which was donated to the SSU Art Collection by the Graton Rancheria in Spring, 2018.

GK Hardt Gallery

The GK Hardt Gallery, also known as the Courtyard Gallery, is located inside the courtyard entrance to Weill Hall. Named after donors who contributed to the capital campaign that build the Green Music Center, the gallery features artwork from the SSU Art Collection on a rotating basis.
