Juried Student Exhibition 2025

University Art Gallery
Thu, Nov 13, 11:00 am
– 4:00 pm
One of the highlights of the University Art Gallery’s annual program is the presentation of the Juried Student Exhibition, which opens on Thursday, November 13, with a public reception from 4:00–6:00 p.m. The exhibition will be on view through Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025.
The exhibition features original works by current Sonoma State University students from all majors, representing a wide range of media including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, digital media, printmaking, drawing, and mixed media. These works reflect both the breadth of course offerings within the Department of Art and the individual creative expression of the student artists.
The work in the exhibition will be selected by two distinguished art professionals: Kara L. de Lambert, Curator at Imagery Estate Winery and Art Consultant at Lynae Arts; and Jennifer Shada, Artist and Associate Professor of Art at Santa Rosa Junior College. Both jurors bring exceptional expertise and insight to the selection process and will engage with students and the campus community through a Juror's Talk, where they will discuss their professional practices and perspectives on contemporary art.
The Juried Student Exhibition offers an inspiring opportunity to experience the depth of talent and creativity that defines SSU's student community.
