University Art Gallery
12:00 am
– 11:59 pm
The University Art Gallery at Sonoma State is proud to present Land, Sky, and Sea: A Tapestry of Perspectives, a group exhibition featuring the works of Sonoma County artists Catherine Daley, Adrian Mendoza, and Bambi Waterman. On view from February 6 to March 15, 2025, this environmentally-themed exhibition aims to examine the delicate balance between humans and the natural world.
Curated by Catherine Daley, Land, Sky, and Sea explores various ecosystems through terrestrial, aerial, and underwater perspectives. Daley’s minimalist sculptures, bronzes, and landscape photographs highlight the fragile and subtle beauty of our planet. Mendoza's aerial photography and fiber art showcase dynamic, patterned landscapes in jewel-like tones and stark black-and-white contrasts. Lastly, Waterman’s intricate ceramics and underwater seascape paintings capture the delicate and stunning beauty of our oceans.
