Reflections: Portraits and Self-Portraits from NIAD Art Center, Sept. 5th – Oct. 20th 

The University Art Gallery at Sonoma State proudly presents Reflections: Portraits and Self-Portraits from NIAD Art Center. NIAD works with artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and care providers in Richmond and Contra Costa and Alameda Counties to amplify inclusion in the contemporary art world. 

Reflections is curated by NIAD’s Executive Director, Amanda Eicher, and Board Member, Jay Youngdahl, and runs September 5th through October 20th. The opening reception is on September 5th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. This is the first time we have partnered with NIAD to feature their artists and we are thrilled for the opportunity.
 

Juried Student Exhibition 2024, Nov. 7th – Dec. 14th

The Juried Student Exhibition 2024 opens on Thursday, November 7th, with a public reception from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. 

The work in the exhibition features original artwork by current SSU Students, which will be selected by two jurors from the professional art world. This year's jurors are Chris Grunder, Director of Bass & Reiner Gallery; and Jiovanny Soto, Artist and Lecturer in Art at San Francisco State University.

The University Art Gallery is open Tuesday - Saturday, 12:00 – 5:00 pm; closed on Sunday, Monday and Holidays. Admission to the Gallery is free.
