Art from The Heart

ABOUT

Saturday, February 3, 2024, 5-8pm, Art from the Heart celebrates its 40th-anniversary benefit auction and party at the University Art Gallery, at Sonoma State University!  Proceeds from the auction directly benefit the Art Gallery's exhibition, publication, and lecture programs—programs that educate and inspire our campus and surrounding community.

The University Art Gallery launched its first Art from the Heart benefit auction event in February 1984. Originally organized around Valentine's Day, according to its founder and then gallery director, SSU Emeritus Art Professor Bob Nugent. Since then, artists have donated thousands of works in generous support of the gallery's mission. Calls for artwork have recently included the work of current SSU Art Studio Students.

This annual fundraising auction promises to be an exciting evening of art, food, wine, and music by Dave Getz' Noisy Children. Come join us to share in community, art, and enjoyment.
