Art from the Heart is the annual benefit auction and party at the University Art Gallery at Sonoma State University. Proceeds from the auction directly benefit the Art Gallery's exhibition, publication, and lecture programs—programs that actively educate and inspire our campus and surrounding community.
The University Art Gallery had its first Art from the Heart benefit auction in 1984, organized by Bob Nugent, Gallery Director at that time. Since then, artists have been donating their artwork to be auctioned. Calls for artwork have recently included SSU students as well.
This annual fundraising auction promises to be an exciting evening of art, food, wine, and music. Come join us to share in community, art, and enjoyment.
This event takes place on the first Saturday of February each year.
The gallery will be open to visitors who would like to view artworks in advance of Saturday's during AFTH Preview Exhibition days.
$40 suggestion donation; no one turned away due to lack of funds.
