Thanks in part to a donation by Sonoma State Professor Emeritus Tony White, the SSU Art Collection holds a strong selection of early to mid-twentieth century Mexican and Latin American art, particularly prints. Prints by famous modern Mexican artists such as David Alfaro Siqueiros and Rufino Tamayo are part of the collection, as well as several works by lesser-known printmakers from this circle. The collection also contains a few works by South American modernists, such as the Argentinian Surrealist Roberto Matta.
